NEC Certificate changing to CSNV from 1st August 2016

Candidate Registration Requirements - Candidates must ensure they complete the CompEx Registration Form fully and provide original certification to the CompEx Centre for centre representatives to validate. All candidates who pass the Core Competency Modules will receive a CompEx Core Competency Certificate, but those candidates who do not provide certificated evidence to the centre that they are qualified as an electrotechnical or mechanical craftsperson, will receive a certification number with CSNV after the number and a note on their certificate stating 'Electrotechnical or Mechanical Craftsperson Certification Status not verified'   (previously recorded on the certificate as NEC).

This CSNV certification still means the candidate has met the requirements for core competency as defined by the Scheme and allows employers to conduct their own checks on qualifications and experience to ensure the candidate is deployed to tasks they are competent to undertake in the workplace.
