We’re very proud to announce we were awarded the APEA Milestone Award at the APEA Awards on 22nd November 2018 sponsored by Meridian Electrical for celebrating 25 years of increasing safety in explosive atmosphere workplaces through the utilisation of CompEx core competency validation courses for staff and sub-contractors. See for more details of the awards.

Martin Jones - CompEx Operations Manager commented 'We are delighted to have been awarded this prestigious award on the evening of 22nd of November 2018 at the Stadium MK in Milton Keynes, England UK and the recognition this award brings for both the CompEx Scheme and it's hard working team of professional engineers, certification management and staff'.

He added - 'We celebrated our 25th anniversary during 2018 and the huge impact CompEx has had on improving safety in the workplace during that time. The CompEx Scheme is the recognised global scheme for the protection of oil, gas and chemical workers in both offshore and onshore activities. The scheme assesses the competency of employees and contract staff who are working in environments with the potential risk of explosive atmospheres'.

Hosted by the APEA, this is a petroleum-based event of the season at a centralised location in Milton Keynes. The event combines an Exhibition and Conference during the day; which by night, transforms into the illustrious Awards Dinner – the optimum opportunity to dine and network with colleagues, suppliers, new and existing customers alike.
