Martin Jones - CompEx Operations Manager reviews 2014

Jan 26, 2015

One of the most satisfying achievements this year has been the recognition for JTLimited as the CompEx Certification Body to be accredited by UKAS in accordance with the updated recognised International Standard ISO / IEC 17024:2012 Conformity Assessment - General Requirements for bodies operating certification of persons.

This year has seen unprecedented interest in both candidate registrations and enquiries for new CompEx Centres, to date this year 9 new CompEx Centres across the world have become licensed to operate.

This growth confirms the continued push by major users in the oil, gas & chemical sector to ensure core competency validation is in place for all operatives / technicians either employed or contracted in for all installation, maintenance or inspection activities in work areas containing explosive atmospheres.
