Accreditation

JTLimited, the company who own and operate the CompEx Certification Scheme is accredited by UKAS in accordance with the recognised International Standard ISO/IEC 17024 : 2012 Conformity Assessment - General Requirements for bodies operating certification of persons, as Accredited Certification Body No 0270.

Martin Jones, CompEx Operations Manager, commented that Since our initial accreditation in October 2010 we have now progressed our accreditation to the latest standard ISO/IEC 17024:2012 Conformity Assessment – General requirements for bodies offering certification of persons. Our accreditation for the CompEx Scheme is unique in that it is specific to persons who work in explosive atmospheres and this recognition will further assist our worldwide growth’.

 

David Consterdine, Quality Manager, added that ‘The CompEx Scheme has been built on a robust and effective management system, the continued external UKAS accreditation of the scheme to ISO/IEC 17024:2012 provides further confidence and trust in the integrity of the scheme’.
